Mental Toughness

I had a coach who taught me to set goals. He made me buy note cards and write down what I wanted to accomplish. Then after I made the big goals, he had me break it down further: little goals to meet the big goal. Each time I met a little goal, I would tape to accomplishment on my bathroom mirror. Every morning, I read what I had already accomplished towards that goal and then would look forward to the next goal. It was an amazing thing to learn and was perhaps the greatest lesson I learned I high school.

Set backs are always going to happen and overcoming them to accomplish your goals is critical. Want to learn mental toughness to accomplish your goals? Let’s go.

Developing mental toughness is crucial for achieving goals, overcoming challenges, and maintaining resilience in the face of adversity. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you build mental toughness:

1. Set Clear Goals

  • Define Your Objectives: Know what you want to achieve.

7. Self-Care

  • Mental Health: Take time for activities that relax and recharge you.

8. Reflect and Adjust
